Junior League of Austin Honors Toya Cirica Bell with Prestigious Volunteer Extraordinaire Award

On Friday, February 21, 2020, Daina Ramey Berry, an award-winning author, black history maker, unveiler, The University of Texas at Austin professor,  and Town Lake Chapter of The Links, Incorporated member unveiled her new book “A Black Woman’s History of the United States” to a standing room only crowd!    "A Black Women's History of the United States",  is a  vibrant and empowering history that emphasizes the perspectives and stories of African American women to show how they are—and have always been—instrumental in shaping our country.
