Mardi Gras is the signature fundraising event of The Town Lake (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. In February 2022, more than 300 guests, gathered virtually for Mardi Gras Casino Royale. In 2023, the festivities will be live with Mardi Gras at The Mansion.   

This will be an experience like no other, with entertainment and excitement throughout the evening. You’ll be able to not only try your luck at winning amazing prizes but do so while supporting the following transformational programs that target the underserved within the Austin Community.

• SCHOLARSHIPS – $20,000 college scholarship awarded to a deserving African American college-bound high school senior.

• STEM | ROBOTICS EDUCATION – Partnership with National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) at two title 1 schools: Texas Empowerment Academy, a kindergarten through 12th-grade charter school, and AISD’s Bertha Sadler Means Middle School.

• GET OUT THE VOTE – Civic engagement program encouraging community members to register to vote and vote with the support and training of our members.

• MEALS FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE – Initiative which gives our members an opportunity to cook for families with hospitalized children while they reside at the Ronald McDonald House.

• CENTRAL TEXAS FOOD BANK PARTNERSHIP – Donation of at least $15,000 annually to help address food insecurities of children and their families during weekends and school breaks.
