President’s Message

Welcome the Town Lake (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s website.

This program year marks our 35th anniversary serving the greater Austin community. We have cautiously returned to in-person activities, including Chapter Meetings and Community Service after serving almost totally virtually for more than two years due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Our chapter and each of us individually are anxiously looking forward to continuing our transformational programming within the Austin community. The Town Lake (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s rich legacy and core values anchor every member. We invite you to explore our website to discover the many civic, cultural, educational, and health-related programs we have provided, and the various programs we have in store in the coming months. Town Lake (TX) Chapter Members are truly “Linked in Friendship and Connected in Service”!

We were Chartered on April 30, 1988; and continue to enrich Austin. Our chapter has a rich legacy of award-winning programming focusing on Services to Youth with an emphasis on “Global Learners”. For 35 years, our intergenerational group of members have bestowed transformative and meaningful service to the greater Austin area. Over the years, our chapter has made its impact felt in several areas of vital importance through our five facets: The Arts, Health and Human Services, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, and Services to Youth.

Through our 501(c)(3) arm, we have provided scholarships to college-bound youth since 1988. Thanks to Mardi Gras Casino Royale 2022, our annual fundraiser, generous partners, and donors, this year we awarded $64,500 in Scholarships to 12 local graduating high school seniors!
